Last Saturday, IBC-Jurbise, the church Anna attends in Belgium, hosted the in-person and online book launch for ‘Come with me to Kathmandu: Twelve powerful stories of women’s courageous faith in Nepal’ which tells the stories of women that WWR helps.
Unfortunately, the launch was plagued by technical problems, and we had to switch from broadcasting on Microsoft Teams to Zoom to Facebook Live, losing people along the way. However, for those who were able to attend in person, either in Belgium or in Huntsville, Alabama, there was a fantastic atmosphere, and everyone was riveted by the interview and videos.
The good news is that if you missed the launch and would like to catch up, you can! The entire launch is available on YouTube. The main action begins at 15:50 after the opening credits.
During the interview, Anna recommended a film called ‘I am Belmaya’, this film is currently available to watch on Netflix.
If you would like to purchase ‘the book ‘Come with me to Kathmandu’, we suggest you buy it from Eden Christian Books, which is a living wage employer. If Eden does not deliver to your country, then Amazon also holds stock.
Thank you to everyone who helped with the launch; we are so pleased you made it the success it was.
