WWR is about to seek advice from Next Generation Nepal, who are involved in the rescue of children from orphanages. Running an orphanage in Nepal can be so profitable that their owners/managers dupe families into sending their children to them to make more money. More ‘orphans’ means more income and donations. These same owners/managers also deceive overseas churches and donors to give more. Sometimes the children may endure horrific abuse out of sight of donors.
The founder of Next Generation Nepal has written a brilliant book describing his story. Though heartbreaking at times, it is full of action and adventure too. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Click here to purchase it.
